After a brief interlude working at a tile showroom I aquired a multitude of jewel coloured mosaic tiles. I had soon encrusted them on my garden wall and began to look for more opportunities to work with this enduring and versitile art form.
This is an invitation to see where it led me. I hope you enjoy seeing my pieces and maybe you have a perfect place just waiting for one of my designs.
Tobago Mirror
Situated in the 212 Gallery Eco garden, inspired by the sea life in the Carribean Island of Tobago, this mirror reflects the colours and fish shoals of the Island.
Stream of Memories
A ribbon of blue mosaic with pools of memorabilia and collected objects.
Flower Wall
A wall of garden colour with textures and shades that changes character with sunshine, cloud and night time lighting.
Willow Pattern
I loved creating picture stories in this beautiful mixture of blue and white tiles mixed with the old Willow Pattern.
Portraits
This is Lola, a pretty Bedlington terrior in a corner of her owner’s colourful home.
Commissions
I love working to commission. I always enjoy discussing ideas and thanks to my background in theatre design I am comfortable collaborating with my client and working on diverse themes, interpretations and suggestions.
Chattells
This is a mixed media collage and mosaic piece. It’s created from my personal memories and aspects of my garden.
Reflect
Affirmations created in mosaic can bring important messages to life.
